OCTOBER LOVE

TGIF TGIF TGIF!! :D

Good grief, I've never been so so so SO GLAD that it's finally FRIDAY!!
Today marks the end of the mad glue-your-ass-to-your-chair-speed-read-mountain-of-notes days! Also the end of term papers and tests! Of course I still have projects and presentations and readings and more readings and much more readings, but for now TGIF! :D

Term break ought to have been a horrid read the f'readings week but surprise surprise i had a great week cos:

If you're thinking, "Liv can blade!?" Uh-huh you're right - after a decade of not putting on blades, Liv decides to do something special with her lovely cousin!

This is the very intelligent me choosing which way to go which lands tal and I on bumby unfriendly grounds, pedestrian filled paths and finally HILLS where I, seeing my sporty fit cousin blade up and over so easily decides to try; I end up losing my balance halfway, rolls backwards, get pulled up by mr ndu jogger, acts smart and tries yet another and finally falls down the hill with a damn sore butt and cuts on the palms. OHSO-UNGLAM please

despite that, we had a couple of stop points after I finally managed to get my feet moving and to realised that all I had been looking at while blading was the very sad grey ground.

this is us, at the vegetable farm which apparently grows organic veges!

ohsodamnhappy so catch up with you be it on the past/present/future! Feasting after blading, walks and chilling with the music was real good tal - I'm so glad we did something different instead of the usual talk over meals. Thanks for catching me everytime I almost fell over and for being ms lolipop woman -"cross ONLY when I say cross okay!" You never fail to make my day so splendid (: can't help but feel sad that youre leaving to aussie soon, yet happy you're gonna study something you enjoy doing. anyhow, you rock my world; love, love, love (:

absolutely fun! though we were like overgrown kids - wouldn't miss anything for a night like this one where we laughed at everything and anything, screamed at lizards and sparklers, attempt pull-ups!, fight for swings, try to shake foo off the web then drag her all the way up to the top to see the breathtaking view of the full moon, with a chip on its side (; thanks friends, loves!




other that that, there was gym class which was good (: + dance ensemble workshop!

and then October began (:

there's always something special about October,
maybe its because you know when your birthday is coming you get kind of fuzzy and warm.
maybe its having the people i love around me, the family, the cousins, the friends, its been soo long since i met up with the rest, this week in particular ive been out with gwen quite abit (waffling at pjp, paddle pop + magnum, same boat story, ugly xxx, chats, goodbye lenin etc) and i realised how i've actually drifted from everyone while stressing out over work, over money, over superficial friends, over things that don't matter. its like everythings in place now; not like horrid things dont happen - they do but somehow or rather they get burried away on their own. i'm not too sure but this feeling is way to magical

Cuzzy Day!

so tonight tal's filipino food cravings were satisfied! we came here the day we went blading but they were closed on mondays.

the beef and pork thing ( i forgot the names) was damn good. didn't quite fancy the 'currycurry' cos i dont really like pig spareparts!

and for dessert, we had like three slices of cakes!

here's manda's "lao-hong rock" which is actually some coffee waffle thing which i quite liked. the best was the fruit cake!

after dinner we went shopping! which was quite sad because shops were closing! (we'll meet earlier to go shopping the next time okay? (: )

then we swung by SMU (which has escalators and lifts unlike NUS which has unending staircases and a canteen on a hill) to listen to manda's friend's band. played a couple of nice selections, noise wasn't that awesome but was good chilling with the cuzzies! do you girls have any idea that we took a total of 120 pictures?! ohmyy
